Where your inquiry relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in responding to inquiries addressed to us.

Inquiries that do not result in a contractual relationship are deleted once they have been conclusively processed, but no later than six months thereafter, unless statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons require longer storage.

Music Licensing Inquiries

If you use the email link provided for music licensing inquiries, your message is also addressed to the recordJet Group. The recordJet Group therefore receives the information contained in your email, including your email address, message content, and any attachments you provide.

This processing is carried out for the purpose of reviewing and handling potential music licensing arrangements and is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Depending on responsibility for the respective inquiry, data may be processed by a recordJet company in Germany or Switzerland.

Contact by Telephone

If you contact us by telephone, technical call data such as your telephone number, the date and time of the call, and the duration of the call are processed through the telephone service satellite, provided by sipgate GmbH. The audio content of a live telephone call is transmitted through the service for the purpose of establishing and maintaining the connection but is not recorded by us.

If a call is not answered within approximately 20 seconds, it may be forwarded to voicemail. If you leave a voicemail message, the audio message, associated call data, and a text transcription of the voicemail are processed and stored through satellite. sipgate states that third-party service providers may assist with functions such as voicemail transcription.

Where the call relates to the initiation or performance of a contract, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. In other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in handling and responding to inquiries addressed to us.

Call data, voicemail messages, and voicemail transcriptions available to us are deleted once the inquiry has been conclusively processed, but no later than six months thereafter, unless contractual, statutory, or other legitimate reasons require longer retention. Statutory retention obligations applicable to the telecommunications provider remain unaffected.
